The Quabbin Photogroup (QPG) began in 1984 by picking up the remnants of the Belchertown Color Camera Club which was founded by noted local photographer Les Cambell in 1948.

The purpose of our club is to share nature photography images and to learn from one another. We encourage the sharing and learning experience, and we welcome new members!

We meet on the 4th Monday of each month (except December) at the Quabbin Visitors Center located in Quabbin Park on Route 9 in Belchertown. Our meetings begin with a refreshments social at 7pm; meeting start time is 7:30pm. Our meetings alternate between guest speakers and members nights where members and guests can bring up to 15 images for sharing, either in digital or 35mm slide format.

Our club is a supporting member of NECCC (New England Camera Club Council) and its annual
photography 3-day weekend event held in the month of July.
